Web camera

I have a new web camera set up at my parents house overlooking the outdoor model railroad that I hope to finish someday (maybe next summer). Hopefully this camera will remain ON most of the time, but things always seem to creep up. However, as of right now I’m still working on the positioning of the camera itself. I may also at some point try to upgrade this camera as well.

For what it’s worth, this is a good example of what you can do with your old computers laying around. It’s easy to set up, not to mention cheap, and it’s also fun, too.

Update: I think I might try and develop a daily archive script for the cameras, so I can see what’s going on.
